In 1989,

Frank and Jan Frisbie started High Plains Medical Waste Company.  A registration from TCEQ, (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality), was granted for operation of a mobile on-site  treatment unit for the state of Texas.

Frank Frisbie is the owner of High Plains Medical Waste Co.  He is a life long resident of Amarillo.  Frank graduated from West Texas State University in 1960 with a BSE in music education.  He retired from AISD in 1982 as choir director at  Tascosa High School.

Jan Frisbie is a retired nurse and also a native of Amarillo. Jan has worked in the healthcare field for the past 45 years.  She is a graduate from Northwest Texas Hospital School of Nursing in 1973 and serves as office manager and joint owner of High Plains Medical Waste Co.

Julie( Frisbie) Mathis serves as the Account Representative and Operations Manager.

High Plains Medical Waste Co. is a faith based and family owned  company with this Mission Statement :
